COMPETITIVE TRY OUTS WILL BEGIN AUGUST 25, including Body Checking Clinics for any player starting in Bantam or Midget Rep, who has not competed in a Hockey Canada Checking league(spring leagues do not count).
Nanaimo MHA has secured ice for the 2017-18 season tryouts starting Aug. 25th, 2017, after 400pm.
We will break for the long weekend, Sept. 1-4, starting again the 5th of September.
Nanaimo MHA is now accepting applications for coaching positions for the 2017-18 season.
Deadline for submissions is April 30th, 2017
Please drop completed application to the minor hockey office.

This document is very important for ALL coaches in our association, it outlines on page 2 thru 5 the details of remaining current with your coaching status.
Coaches who hold any recreational Coaching course must complete 10 Professional development points(PDP) every 5 years.
Coaches who hold Development 1/Intermediate (competitive)must complete MED, online evaluations and 20 PDP.
On page 6 the MED course that must be completed by all coaches who currently hold the Development 1 coaching course.
