Bria is currently studying at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax. She is finishing up her 3rd year of university, majoring in psychology, minor in human resources. Bria is very focused on her studies, and this year took the team award at the athletic banquet for top academics on the team. She has achieved “Academic All-Canadian” status in the CIS in both her first and second years of university, and plans to graduate next year with honors. After graduating and working for a year, Bria plans to go back to school to complete her masters in psychology.
Bria has stayed active in coaching hockey as well, and has completed her “Development 1”. She has worked with girls in Halifax Minor Hockey, and with BC Hockey at the U14 and U18 levels. Bria is off to Salmon Arm this summer as soon as she returns from Halifax to assistant coach at the BC Cup.
