🎓 NMHA Player Scholarships — Building Futures On and Off the Ice! 🏒
Each year, Nanaimo Minor Hockey proudly awards five $500 scholarships to our graduating players. This season, it’s time for our 2008-born players to apply, information is available through their SD68 scholarship packages.
These scholarships are more than just financial support — they’re a way to recognize the dedication, sportsmanship, and community spirit our players bring to the game.
We’re always inspired to see where these scholarships take our alumni — whether it’s further education, trades, or community leadership, hockey continues to shape their journey long after they leave the ice. 💙💛
“I’m emailing you today to thank you for choosing me to receive this award to help the financial aspect of my post secondary education. I am a registered apprentice electrician working for Mazzei Electric in Nanaimo and I am going to school for first year at Camosun College in January, 2026. This award will allow me to focus more on school and less stress about the finances.”
