Nanaimo Minor Hockey is thanking a very dedicated volunteer today as he retires from our Hockey World, Dan Dawes has volunteered in Nanaimo MHA for 28 years.
Dan started with his own 3 players as an assistant coach for a few years, sat on the Minor Hockey Board for 3 years, refereed for 5 years, and assigned the game officials for 20 years.
